Encourage athletes to play by the rules and resolve conflicts without abusive language, hostility or violence.
Stress the importance of participation, respect and good sportsmanship.
Avoid spectator pressures to win.
Lend a hand when a volunteer or Official needs help.
Be supportive of the athletes, team, volunteers, Officials and other spectators and showcase good sportsmanship.
Respect the decisions and judgements of the Officials and league operators and encourage athletes to do the same. Do not interfere with on field instruction or guidance.
If I have a concern, I will raise it to the team volunteer in a private, positive and respectful manner.
Maintain a positive learning environment focused on players personal development and enjoyment of the game. Cheer and encourage the player and team regardless of the outcome of the game.
Remain on the sidelines. At no time should spectators go on to the field or approach the team bench area. This includes the time when the players enter the field for warm-ups until the time the player leaves the field at games end.
Set an example for your athlete through your own behaviour. Your athlete is watching.
*Please remember that this is a new league to the community and the organizers and volunteers are doing their very best to make this a safe and positive experience for everyone. We ask that you exercise patience as we continue to grow the league.
